Two of my favorite technology scenes from the film are:
1- When John Anderton is viewing the pre-cog's vivsions on his large screen and manipulating the movie with his special gloves. The technology in this scene are the loves and screen that interact with one another. This piece of technology is effective because it lets John zoom in on special parts of the crime, and it lets him rewind and fast forward to the exact parts that are relevent. With this technology he can get very specific with what he wants to see in the vision. I think that this technology will appear in our society, but possibly in a slightly different form. Right now, people are developing more touch screen technology. There will probably be screens like this in the future, but rather than gloves, there may be touch screen boards. This also reminda me of the boards teachers write on in some schools, that are electronic and connect to the computer.
2- Another piece of technology that I liked in the movie are the spiders. The spiders in this movie can sense the heat that people near them give off, then they can locate these people, and they have iris scanners built in that reveals people's identities. This technology is effective, because if you were looking for someone, then it would be easy to locate and find them. The spiders are also very determined, and if there is no way to get to people, then the spiders will create their own way to get to them. I don't think that these will appear in the future, because they are somewhat of a privacy invasion, and I feel that people would be against that. In the future, it will probably be made, but they won't be used in our everyday society.
