"Sick sticks" would affect our lives today positively because people would have them instead of guns, which would lower the amount of deaths that happen from police shooting unarmed victims.

Driver-less cars would have a positive impact on today's society because they would minimize car accidents, which in turn would lead to fewer deaths. Because the majority of car accidents happen from human error, these cars would eliminate the opportunity for any human errors. This is similar to pre-crime, in the sense that it lowers deaths, but different because there is no unethical usage of pre-cogs.

Eye scanners would be the better alternative to fingerprint scanning because they are more accurate than fingerprint scanning, and can be used even if someone's eyes are closed.
