The use of "pre-cogs" is unethical because they do not get a choice whether or not that want to be in a pool 24/7 being used for scientific purposes. Also pre-cogs can see in to the future, that is the only difference between and a regular human. Although it is a gift and benefits the majority of people, it is a handicap for them because they cannot leave, and get a chance to get outside or explore their passions.

If there was a system that could not fail that is supported, and would be used to fight murder, rape, and other crimes of passion I would support it as long as pre cogs were not involved. If there were a system like this with no downfalls the results would mainly be positive. On the contrary, I can understand why someone would not support this because everything happens for a reason, and maybe someone was going to change their mind at the last minute. Also, in a case such as Howard Marx's, many people would think that what his wife did was wrong, but I do not believe she deserves to die for that. Another flaw with pre-crime is that the officers and government do not get the whole story. For example, A crime of passion could happen following a planned murder.
